With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Jo Nicholson of Kingsport, Tennessee, born in Amonate, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Garfield Whited and Letty Whited; her husband Cecil Nicholson; and her siblings, Sonny Whited, Charlotte Wells and Lois Sang.

She is survived by: her children, Vicki Cochran and James Nicholson; her grandchildren, Robert Waddle (Kasey) and Ryan Waddle; her great grandchildren, Jake, Maggie, Paisley and Cambry; and her sister Geri Page. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
