He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judy Scott Owens; his parents, Lillie Fish Nickles and George Owens; his in-laws, Edith and Carl Scott; his sister Maxine King; and his daughter Crystal Steffey (Toby).
Graveside Service will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Masonic Garden and will be under the direction of the American Legion Hammond Post #3 and Gate City Post #265.The family asked that if you choose not to send flowers, consider donating to your local park, hunting club, or dedicate some family time outdoors.The care of Benny Owens and his family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.
