He is survived by: his parents, Norman Ashley and Linda Smith Ashley of Elizabethton; his significant other Tim McBride of Kingsport; his sons, Cody Banks of Sumpter, SC, Sammy Gilley (Tiffany) of Kingsport and Justin Boyer (Tosh) of Rogersville; his grandchildren, Cael Banks, Noah Gilley, Lexie Boyer and Bub Boyer; his brothers, Wade Ashley (Marcia) of Elizabethton and Tim Ashley (April) of Elizabethton; his niece Macy Ashley (Dayton); and his extended family, Oren, Bobbie McBride of Indiana, Chris McBride (Jenny) of Indiana and Cheryl Dunn (John) of Taiwan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trinity Baptist Church (458 E Doe Ave, Elizabethton, TN 37643).
