She was predeceased by: her children, Pete Vermillion and Brenda Vermillion. She is survived by: her husband Harold J. Byers; her children, Terry W. Vermillion and Patricia Collins; her grandchildren, Latasha Robinson (Terry Hilton), Curtis Grissom, Alicia, Jason Hale, Brittany, Summer, Houston and Austin Vermillion; her great grandchild Hunter Reynolds; her brothers, Suel William Collins (Monnie) and Bobby Miller; her caregiver Amy Carrico; and also, Delona, Joe Stair, Jackie, Ken Rolo, Larry Frazier and Tonya Smith. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home (320 Grandview St, Church Hill, TN 37642). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park (2630 TN-75, Blountville, TN 37617).
