She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Wilson and Julia Elizabeth Fulks Wilson; her husband Jimmy Sturgill; and her siblings, Martha, Clarsie, Hazel, Nella "Nell", Lana "Kay", Charles Ray, Harold, James "Jim", Robert Jr., Marion and Franklin.
She is survived by: her daughter Elaine Sturgill; her sisters, Sarah Dotson (James Swanson) and Bernice Adams; and her half-brother Timothy Wilson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
