She is survived by: her husband DeWitt Allen Payne; her daughters, Beth McFadden Jackson (Bryon Lloyd Jackson) of Knoxville and Anne Harrell Payne of Blue Bell, PA; and her brother William Walter White of Austin, TX.. She is also survived by her family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 161 E. Ravine Rd., Kingsport, TN 37660.
