Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Virgil Wayne Roberts of Kenton, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 97, on January 16, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Roberts and Lola Bradberry Roberts; his brothers, Jerry Roberts and Charles Edgar Roberts; and his half-brothers, Guy Trimm and Norman Trimm.
He is survived by: his wife Jolene Roberts; his sons, Ken Roberts (Barbara) and Tim Roberts; his grandchildren, Matt Roberts (Amber), Carrie Davis (Matthew), Kristin Skinner (Bradley) and Paige Roberts (Chad Cooper); and his great grandchildren, Rhett, Falyn, Goldie and Rance.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Rutherford (669 S Trenton St, Rutherford, TN 38369). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Walnut Grove Cemetery (11 Walnut Grove Rd, Rutherford, TN 38369).
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Memphis School of Preaching.
