He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis John Brown and Doris Rebecca Snider; his wife Carol Cummins Brown; his brothers, Michael David Brown, Sr. and John Avery Brown; his granddaughter Talia Hope Medina; and his great grandchild Levi Paul Logan.
He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Brown of Kenton, Elaine Hamilton of Pennsylvania, Brandy Medina of Alabama, Rachel Hanif of Kenton and Lydia Brown of Kenton; and his siblings, Curtis John Brown, Jr. of Pennsylvania and Patricia Doris Brown of Pennsylvania.
