She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Finch and Opal Finch; her son Charles Edward Garrett; her grandson Kevin Russell "Rusty" McFarland; and her son Kenneth Edward Garrett.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Garrett; her daughters, Kathy Hale of Humboldt, TN and Janice Dickey (Charlie Fred) of Union City, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Lori Horner (Keith), Tiffani Leann Timonen (Phil), Stephanie Garrett and Frankie Hargis; her sister Jane Allen (Jack) of Kenton, Tennessee; and her caregivers, Felisha Fisher, Pam Milligan, Anita Moore and Stacie Tulhoski. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
