She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Grimillion and Teresa Grimillion (Ponthieux); her son Chris Allen Stephens; and her siblings, Steven Grimillion and Teresa Hickerson.

She is survived by: her husband Rufus Stephens; her sons, Eugene Stephens and Kevin Stephens; her sisters, Alice Delaney, Brenda Kuzma and Tina White; and her grandchildren, Sean and Lilli Stephens.
