Ivy Ray Parker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ivy Ray Parker of Kenton, Tennessee, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Parker and Birdie Parker; his siblings, Blondell Hargrove, Ruby Alexander and Raymond Parker; his children, Demetria Parker, Marcia Mann, Ewell Anderson and Gerald'Corky'Thomas; and his grandchild Emily-Kate Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly; and his children, Kenny Parker (Karen), Joel Thomas (Angela), Joshua Thomas, Jayce Holman, Jason Thomas and Candie Thomas. He is also survived by Loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren cherish 'Papa'.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Obion County Fair Association (PO Box 126, Union City, TN 38281), one of Ray's greatest joys was working at the gate every summer at the fairgrounds with late friend, EC Eddings.
