He is survived by: his wife Barbara Shields; his children, Jennifer Davis, Barbara Wade, Harvey Shields Jr. and Britney Breeden; his siblings, Terry Shields, Joyce Brown, Michelle Shields, Kathy Melton and Ricky Shields; his grandchildren, Kristen Wade, Julia "Juju" Davis and Cody Lynn Cruse; his great grandchildren, Kendall Joyce Green, Dakotah Steven Green, Cameron Reese Boxley, Brooklyn Breeden and Joshua Breeden; and his birddog Rascal.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Rutherford (669 S Trenton St, Rutherford, TN 38369). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM at the Bethpage Cemetery (59 Bethpage Rd, Kenton, TN 38233).
