She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Thomas and Helen Puckett Hobbs; her husband Jerry Duren; her daughter Tammy Bishoff of Colorado; her siblings, Martha Howard, Carolyn Webster and James Thomas Hobbs; and her grandparents, Robert Lee, Mammy Hobbs, Bernie and Annie Puckett.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Duren Collins; her siblings, Brenda Woodruff of Marion, Ill. and Charles Hobbs of Marion, Ill.; and her grandchildren, Jacob Vickery (Courtney), Christopher Harris (Jessica), Melissa Delaney (Patrick) and Brandon Bishoff (Angelina). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Kenton (217 W Church St, Kenton, TN 38233). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sunnyside Cemetery.
