She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Crosby and Gladys Crosby (Hearst); her husband Samuel Hurst; and her granddaughter Melissa Hurst. She is survived by: her children, Wayne Hurst, Mary Butler, Allen Hurst and Samuel Hurst Jr.; and her siblings, Jay Kazdeon, Glynn Crosby and Linda Crosby. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
