He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel C. Hughey and Lily Hughey of Kenton; his brother David Hughey; and his daughter Kelsey Hughey. He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Reed, Rosemary Akers, Sara Crisco of Kenton, Steve Hughey of Mason Hall and Cecil Hughey of Alaska; and his daughter Felicia Hughey of Kenton. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
