She was predeceased by: her grandson Ronny Newby; her parents, H. D. Jared and Betty Jared; and her siblings, Billy, David, Don, Clay Jared, Mary Agnes Bradley and Jo Ellen Hamilton.
She is survived by: her spouse Warner Simmons; her sister Linda Burroughs of Huntsville, Ala; her grandchildren, Mark Newby (Susan) of Mobile, Ala, Becky Linsz (Mark) of Charlotte, Matt Simms (Allison) of Nashville, Tennessee, Rob Simms (Shayna) of Fayetteville, Tennessee and Sara Stephens (John) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Belle, Jane, Sarah Newby, Ashley, Anna, Ellie Linsz, Cole, Ayden, Cullen Simms, Caroline, Carter and Cade Stephens; her stepchildren, Mary Martin (Mike) of Hermitage, Tennessee, Jim Taylor (Jill) and Ginny Thompson (Bradley); and her children, Kaylee and Bodey. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
