He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wesley and Flossie Mae Stanford Hobbs; and his siblings, Irene Sawyers, Elaine Posey, Georgia Walker, Louise Porch, Maggie Mitchell, Violet McKin, Joanne Fears, John Hobbs and Robert Hobbs.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Hobbs of Kelso, TN; his children, Jimmy Hobbs (Tonya) of Flintville, TN and Chris Hobbs; his stepchildren, Terry Lewter (Mikael Hopwood) of Kelso, TN, Kim Goolsby (Jim) of Fayetteville, TN, Scotty Lewter (Katrina) of Hartford City and Tammy Williamson (Scott) of Fayetteville, TN; and his sister Emma Jean McKin (Reed). He is also survived by four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, eleven step grandchildren and thirteen step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Lynchburg Funeral Home to help Ms. Mary Ann with the funeral expenses.
