He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howard Jeffers, Sr. and Clara Viola Slagle Jeffers; and his siblings, James Howard Jeffers, Jr. and Neva Campbell. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Jeffers; his stepdaughter Donna Davis (Tim); his stepgrandsons, Adam and Zach Davis; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ellie and Alex; and his nieces, Patricia Moody (Mark) and Marsha Rodgers (Robert). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
