It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wanda McDowell of Jonesborough, Tennessee, born in Vandalia, Illinois, who passed away on February 18, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James I. Krantz and Evelyn P. Krantz; her siblings, Robin Krantz of Flora, IL and Evelyn Shamhart of Beecher City, IL; and her granddaughter Kirsten Alexis McDowell.
She is survived by: her husband Ron McDowell of Jonesborough, TN; her children, Ronald Lee McDowell of Jonesborough, TN and Shelly Marie McDowell of Jonesborough, TN; her granddaughter Lila Rose McDowell of Jonesborough, TN; her brother William Krantz of Farina, IL; and her sister-in-law Frances Krantz of Flora, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Wanda's final wishes were to be cremated with no services, and for donations to be made to hospice on her behalf.
