He was predeceased by: his mother Carol Dakai (Mueller). He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his daughters, Amanda Dakai, Julia Dakai and Rebecca Dakai (Christopher); his father Henry Dakai; and his sisters, Ellen Bohlmann (Nathan), Lorrie Ching (Anthony), Michelle Dakai and Amy Gill (Andy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Steve's memory to the non-profit animal rescue, "For Pete's Sake Rescue", P.O. Box 1982, Bristol, TN 37621-1982.
