He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dickeson and Ruby Sherfey Dickeson; and his brother Stanley Dickeson. He is survived by: his brothers, Jerry Dickeson (Faye) and Joe Dickeson (Helen). He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, great nieces, nephews and many cousins.
