She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. George A. Byrd and Iva Seaton Byrd; and her brother-in-law Edward Snapp. She is survived by: her sister Georgie Byrd Snapp; her niece Amy Snapp Bryant (Patrick); and her great-niece Abigail Bryant of Fuquay-Varina.
