She was predeceased by: her parents, William Chaffee and Betty Ruth Davenport Chaffee; and her brother Richard Chaffee. She is survived by: her husband Charles Gutierrez; her children, Tony Gutierrez of Atlanta, GA, Lucas Gutierrez, Victor Gutierrez, Julia Gutierrez and Andrew Gutierrez of Asheville, NC; her grandchildren, Elise Gutierrez, Roscoe Gutierrez and Skylar Paul Gutierrez; and her siblings, Lena Shaffer of Albuquerque, NM and Edward Chaffee (Renee) of Albuquerque, NM. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
