As Richard departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Richard leaves behind.

He is survived by: his parents, Jackie Heath and Derek Heath; his brother Robert Heath; his sister-in-law Catherine Heath; and his aunts and uncles, Doreen, Cheryl, Michael, Lynn and Ronald. He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, Richard would have wanted donations to be made to the Special Olympics Area 3 Chapter in Johnson City, Tennessee.
