Ransome Ellis Holcombe Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ransome Ellis Holcombe of Jonesborough, Tennessee, who passed away on August 14, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Frank Quinn, Sr. and Lucille Edney Quinn; and his wife Brenda Holcombe. He is survived by: his sons, Kent Holcombe and Marcus Holcombe (Jia); his granddaughter Christian Holcombe; his great grandchild Luna Cox; his siblings, James Quinn (Judith) and Victoria Dillon (Joe); and his aunt June Williams (Bobby). He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Having dedicated his life to the service of Children in Washington County, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dolly Parton Imagination Library, 111 Dollywood Lane Pigeon Forge, TN 37863 or any organization of your choice that aids in helping children.
