He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Travise Sr. and Eleanor Bliss Travise Thomas; and his siblings, June Travise O'Connor and Ronald Travise. He is survived by: his wife Doreen Janas Travise; his children, Ralph Travise (Shannon) and Christy Travise Charvat (Chris); his grandsons, Collin Charvat, Brandon Travise and Elliot Travise; and his sister Carol Travise Maxwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Ralph's wish was that there would be no service, but if anyone would like to honor his memory, donations can be made in his name to Avalon Hospice of Johnson City or the American Cancer Society.

“I was so saddened to learn of Ralph’s passing. He was our neighbor for a few years and was so enjoyable to talk with. He loved keeping his lawn and shrubs immaculate. And I sure missed that when they moved. I would see him starting out every day or so riding his bike; he seemed to really enjoy that. I know today he’s out of pain, no more suffering, and in the presence of our Lord and Savior. Praying for Peace and Comfort for his family. Shiryll &Tom Edmonds”
