He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Oaks Hopkins Odom (Dave Odom) and Randolph Hopkins, Sr.; his brother Randolph "Randy" Hopkins, Jr.; and his uncle Herman "Bud" Oaks, Jr.. He is survived by: his sister Debbie Ramsey (Frankie); his aunts, Sue Speer (Gary) and Linda Tipton (Roy); his sister-in-law Reola Hopkins; and his cousins, Allison Smith (Rick), Ashley Minter (Barry), Logan and Tristan Smith.
Following the arrangements made by Mickey, his body was donated to the Quillen College of Medicine for the benefit and education of others.
