She was predeceased by: her parents, Ballard Cullop and Elma Phillips Cullop; and her siblings, Bill Cullop and Shirley Pippin. She is survived by: her children, Nicole Bundens (Jeff) of Jonesborough, TN, James Matthews Jr. (Brook) of Taylorsville, NC and Donald Garrett (Kim Garrett); her siblings, Ethel Reynolds of Blountville, TN, Edna Mae Colley of Glade Springs, VA, Ruth Taylor of Woodlawn, VA and Ernest "Bud" Cullop (Myrna) of Damascus, VA; and her grandchildren, James Matthews III, William Matthews and Leanna Garrett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
