She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Hammett, Sr. and Mary Jo Hammett. She is survived by: her husband Monty; her daughters, Michelle Nix (David) and Melanie Barnett (Brian); her grandsons, Braeden Nix, Ethan and Sam Barnett; and her siblings, Debbie Snodgrass (Jim), Donna Barrett (Ronnie) and John Hammett, Jr.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (612 Collins Dr, Johnson City, TN 37604). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
