It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Carswell (Jonesborough, Tennessee), born in Fort Valley, Georgia, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mitt and Eunice Hartley Holston; and her husband Arthur Frederick "Fred" Carswell. She is survived by: her children, Dee Blalock (Allen), Donna Carson (Jim), Dawn Proffitt (Shawn) and David Carswell (Shannon); her grandchildren, Lauren Logan, Leah Blalock, Justin Carson, Ashley Gorniewicz, Brittany May, Colton Carswell, Emma Carswell, Logan Proffitt and Chloe Proffitt; and her great grandchildren, Natalie Seals, Walker Seals, Norah Logan, Zeke Logan, Logan May, Aubrielle May, Garrison May and Nolan Gorniewicz.
