He is survived by: his daughter Janet Day Sherman (Steve) of Chattanooga, TN; his grandchildren, Sarah Faulkner (Jacob), Stephen Gunter (Brook) and Taylor Sherman (Cynthia Tanty); his brother Robert "Bob" Day; and his nieces and nephews, Michael E. Garland, Linda Droke, Shannon Jones (Wayne), Emily Campbell (Jeremiah) and Mark Droke (Emily).
