In loving memory of Janice Jennings of Jonesborough, Tennessee, who departed this world on December 10, 2024 at the age of 77. Janice leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Lane, Sr. and Mallie Hammonds Lane; and her siblings, Shirley Lane Archer and Donald Lane. She is survived by: her husband Paul Jennings; her children, Paula Jennings Legg (Steve) and Mike Jennings (Christe); her grandchildren, Brooke Jennings (Marty), Luke Jennings, Matthew Williams (Tori) and Marcus Williams; her great grandchildren, Harper, Charlie, Aria, Hadrian, Willa and Jase; and her siblings, Wilma Lane Tipton (late John Tipton), Mildred Lane Clonce (Mark Clonce), Bill Lane (Barbara Lane) and Dewey Lane Junior. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (456 US-23, Weber City, VA 24290). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holston View Cemetery (226-292 Yuma Rd, Weber City, VA 24290).
