With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Arrowood Whitson Ford of Jonesborough, Tennessee, born in Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on October 4, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Arrowood and Althea Hensley Arrowood; her former husband George W. Whitson; her husband Harold Mitchell "Buster" Ford; her children, Harold Mitchell Ford II and Robin Ford; and her siblings, Wayne Arrowood and Wanda Austin Banks.
She is survived by: her children, Georgia Faye Turner (Padro), Dennis Lee Whitson, Issac Baxter Whitson, Kim Conley and Terry Ford; her grandchildren, Michael J. O'Neil (Ashley), Johnathan C. Scott, Nikki Randolph, Jarita C. Scott, Jama C. Scott, Robert Dunk, Issac Harley Whitson, Memphis Lee George Whitson and Mandy Jean Whitson; her great grandchildren, Candice O'Neil, Joey Nardi, Jamal Scott, Aviyonna Stafford and Sevon Stafford; her great great grandchild Noah Nardi; her siblings, Clarence Arrowood (Norma), James Arrowood (Jane Stanton), Joyce McKeehan, Jewell Harvell, Shirley Neidler and Jerry Winfield; and her close friend Chip. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
