He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sullins Feathers, Sr. and JoAnn Lowe Feathers; and his wife Elizabeth Brown Feathers (Beth). He is survived by: his son James Robert Feathers; his grandchildren, Fabian Chase, Elijah Saylor and Melody Simms; his siblings, Jeff Feathers and Jackie Rush (Elmer); and his aunt Mary Alice Feathers Hodge.
James donated his body to the Quillen College of Medicine and requested there be no services.
