He was predeceased by: his parent James Horace; his son David Wayne Kilby; and his brothers, Frank "Gene" Kilby, Blaine Kilby and Jerald Kilby.
He is survived by: his parent Effie Masters Kilby; his wife Anna Lee Arrowood Kilby; his children, Rick Kilby (Peggy), Dennis Kilby, Les Kilby (Karen) and Nancy Smith (Wayne); his sister Mildred Gillman; and his sister-in-law Dean Kilby. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
