He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie J. Jenkins and Georgie Fulkerson Jenkins; his wife Bernice "Bea" Jenkins; and his siblings, Jessie James "Jimmy" Jenkins and Ruth Steadman Nave.
He is survived by: his stepmother Pauline Copas Jenkins; his daughters, Sherry L. Gillenwater of Jonesborough and Lori Drain (Chad) of Jonesborough; his grandchildren, Samantha Stallard Powers, Jared R. Sanders, Shelby Bridwell (Jalen) and Gabe Drain; his great grandchildren, Scarlett Elizabeth Powers and Crimson Alexander Powers; his sister Paulette White of Baytown, TX; and his close friend Janice Troxell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A procession was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:30 AM. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Sulphur Springs Cemetery (152 Bayless Rd, Jonesborough, TN 37659).
