It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Lowery Yates of Jonesborough, Tennessee, who passed away on September 29, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert F. Lowery and Amanda Dunn Lowery; her former husband William Knapp; her husband Lawrence Yates; and her siblings, Ruth Lowery, Gladys Helton, Mae Morelock, Robert, Hubert, Charles and James Lowery. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
