He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Baskett and Agnes Cochran Baskett; his wife Mary Mosier Baskett; and his siblings, Raymond Baskett, Velma McIntosh and Norma Whitehead.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Southern (Eloisa) of Indiana and Deborah McClain of Murfreesboro, TN; his stepson Terry Poarch of Sulphur Springs; and his sisters, Ruth Fox of Johnson City, Evelyn Baskett of Johnson City and Betty Branch (James) of Johnson City. He is also survived by four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two step great-grandchildren.
