She was predeceased by: her parents, William Stafford Polk and Matilda Elizabeth Kersey; her siblings, Pansy Pauling Cost, Mary Alice Houghton, Betty Marie Kuhn, Billie Jean Smith, Darrell Darwin Polk and Dorothy Elizabeth Millard; her son Richard David Scolaro; and her nephew David Alton Polk.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Dillon, Robin Dillon, Elena Camarena, Norman Scolaro and Michael Scolaro; her granddaughter Stephanie Wood; and her niece Patricia Lowe.
