He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Talton and Doris Gosnell Talton; his brother Dennis "Bo" Talton; and his nephews, Travis Costner and Kevin Costner.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Dunbar Talton; his children, Miguel Santiago (Raquel), William Dunbar (Jamie), Clinton Talton, David James Talton (Allie), Amanda Davis (Jeff) and Mamaie Dunbar (Steve); his grandson Eric Dunbar; his nephew Lamar Dunbar; and his brother Mike Talton. He is also survived by four sisters; and thirteen grandchildren.
