He was predeceased by: his parents, James Poe and Katherine Poe; and his grandparents, Thomas, Rita Poe, John and Kate Strickland.
He is survived by: his siblings, Cathy Lewis, Jonnie Smith (Michael Clark) and James Poe II. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
