Danny Denton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Danny Denton of Jonesborough, Tennessee, who passed away on June 16, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Denton and Beatrice Denton; and his siblings, Betty Harmon, Mildred Kovar, Marie Cloninger, Til Percell, Henry Denton, Johnny Denton, Clyde Kyte and Gordon Kyte.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Denton; his daughters, Angela Smith (Jeff) and Amanda Taylor (Rex); his grandsons, Tanner Smith (Sarah), Jarod Smith, Ryan Taylor, Joseph Taylor and Chase Taylor; and his nieces and nephews, Darita Ferguson, Wanda Trent, Joyce Guilliams, Butch Harmon and Arthur Dean Harmon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cherry Grove Baptist Church Food Pantry at 104 Cherry Grove Road, Jonesborough, TN 37659.
