He is survived by: his wife Nancy Reece Barnett; his children, Tammy Lones (Michael) of Jonesborough, Angela Haren (Brad) of Johnson City, Dallas Chadwick Barnett, Jessica Loveday of Sevierville and Phillip Barnett of Jonesborough; his sister Jean McGee of Johnson City; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Barnett of Telford, David Reece (Marion), Timothy Reece (Diana), Daniel Reece (Rebecca) and Becky McNeese (Jerry); his grandchildren, Kelsey Gage (Ryan) of Iowa, Emily Wolfe (Jay) of Iowa, Alex Nelson (Jodie) of Iowa, Kathleen Nelson of Iowa, Mollie Haren, Dustin Simms of Johnson City, Ashley Haren and Billy Haren (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Aeden, Kieran, Preston, Bentley, Jayla, Hunter, Devin, Logan, Paisley, Jordan, Jarrod, Bella, Andon, Mia, Savannah, Blakely, Jacob, Oliver and Landon; and his close friend Fred Eades (Judy). He is also survived by friends, church family and several nieces and nephews.
