He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Brown and Bertha Brown; his wife Nellie J. Brown; his former wife Jennie Laws Brown; his siblings, Joe Paul Brown, Harold Brown and Joann Walker; and his son Sherman Jackson Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Owens (Delmer), Savannah Worley, Debra Baney (William) and Charlsey Cantwell (Michael); and his brother James Brown. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home (418 W College St, Jonesborough, TN 37659). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
