It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Lee McCoy Davis (Jonesborough, Tennessee), born in Grundy, Virginia, who passed away on February 22, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Chris McCoy. She is survived by: her parent Florence Blankenship McCoy; her siblings, Sam McCoy, Dave McCoy, Helen McCoy McKinney, Rita Colena McCoy and Harry McCoy; her daughter Carrie Davis Marchant of Jonesborough; her son-in-law Dave Grubb of Jonesborough; her son Benny Davis of Midlothian, VA; her daughter-in-law Cathy Davis of Midlothian, VA; her grandchild Sam Davis; her wives, Danielle Marchant and Juliette; her friends, Ervin B. and Shirley Davis; her niece Fonda McKinney; and also David Marchant. She is also survived by her children and the real love of her life, Mr. Graham E. Davis and Russ Miller, her second husband, who was a tremendous man of God and a real role model to her children.
Davis chose to have a private service with family; however, please make donations to the Washington County/Johnson City Animal Shelter, as Ms. Davis loved and cherished her pet family and cared for animals greatly.
