With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carlos James Cartwright of Jonesborough, Tennessee, who passed away on January 8, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carlos James Cartwright to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Clyde and Mildred Edna Michael Cartwright; and his siblings, Raymound, Victor, Leland, Oscar Cartwright, Melba Jean Cartwright, Loucelle Hammond and Wilhelmenia Ashworth.
He is survived by: his wife Lula M Cartwright of Jonesborough, TN; his sons, James Brian Cartwright (Anna) and Billy Ray Cartwright of Jonesborough, TN; and his grandson Brian Michael Cartwright of Johnson City, TN.. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Henson and Kitchen Mortuary and Cremation Services (6357 E Pea Ridge Rd, Huntington, WV 25705). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
