It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brooks Garland (Jonesborough, Tennessee), who passed away on March 26, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Tony Garland (Fonda) and Donna Swartwout (Eric); his grandchildren, Brooke Silcox (Lauren), Courtney Miller (Mitch) and Drew Garland (Alison); his great grandchildren, Maddie Garland, Brooks Garland and Samuel Miller; and his sisters, Kathleen Garland, Helen Woody, Marybelle Gouge, Charlene Gouge and Bobbie Garland.
