He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucian Walters and Clara Walters; his sister Alice Hart; and his wife Barbara Stearns Walters. He is survived by: his son Martin (Amy); his grandson Adrian (Paige); his great grandchildren, Adeline and Flynn Walters; his grandchildren, Ashley Keating (Kyle), Kelsey Compeau (Dennis) and Alexis Elwood (Dallas); his children, Joel McMackin, Alma Harvey and Afif Combs; and also Allison Ellis (Nathan).
