It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Ruth Moore of Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on August 11, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Oakes and Rachel Oakes; her husband Richard "Dick" Moore, Sr.; and her siblings, Barbara Oakes Baker and Rodney Oakes.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Moore (Marie), Frank Moore (Andrea), Peter Moore (Kim) and David Moore (Tami); her grandchildren, Sarah Marie Liko (Ermal), Laura Moore, Nathaniel Moore, Hannah Hinton (Travis), Shaila Hernandez (Harvey), Matthew Moore, Caitlin Moore, James Henderson and Mary Henderson; her great grandchildren, Chloe, Noah, Marcella, Norah and Micah; her sister Betty Burleson (Clarice Wilkinson); and her caregiver Tracey Fann. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
