We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2024, at the age of 65, Rita Jean Spears of Johnson City, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ambrose and Dorothy Blankenship Ambrose; and her son Jason David Spears. She is survived by: her son Travis Spears; her siblings, Sandra Ambrose, Bobby Ambrose and Gary Ambrose; her grandchildren, Katelyn Spears, Jordan Spears and Keana Roberts; her close friend Beatrice Harris; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Spears; her grandchild-in-law Cayden Wright; her granddaughter Amy Roberts; and her pet Lexi.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home (418 W College St, Jonesborough, TN 37659). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
